Substitute Teacher

STS is seeking substitutes for various disciplines and grade levels. Qualified substitutes are added to a database of professionals that are contacted and paid directly by the school.

Qualified substitutes will have:

• Experience as a classroom teacher

• A college degree in education or related discipline

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellence references

Substitutes interested in being part of the greater STS community should submit:

• Cover letter that highlights particular strengths and areas of expertise
• Resume
• STS application
• Three recent letters of recommendation

Substitutes are expected to meet with a member of the administration and complete a background check (fees are paid by the substitute).
